Abstract In 2010, Tiga Pilar Corporation (TPC) was established as a holding company supervising four sub-businesses, namely food, agribusiness, trading and distribution, and energy and chemical businesses. As a holding company, TPC must plan its business development for the 10 years to come, from factory erection to making inovations.   Within the last four years, TPS Food has become the backbone of TPC operations, enabling it to gain profit of nearly 17 times. In addtion to market expansion, this achievement is triggered by the management capability in performing efficiency. In the agribusiness group, the profit improved more than 60 times during 2006 to 2010. Nevertheless, many opportunities are yet to be exploited to the maximum extent by the company. Looking at the optimism of the management in managing this group, the agribusiness group is expected to record much bigger profit in 2015.
