Reflecting the diverce social and cultural settings of member countries, the national reports vary in their contents and focus, contain concrete cases of productive organizations operating in deverse cultural setting. Though integrating findings of such a study is well nigh impossible, the chief expert has attempted to discuss various pertinent issues arising from the study and presented an integrative view. The report, recognizing that the driving force sustainable productivity emanates from intrinsically motivated eforts of employees, recommends strategies for developing a "caring" culture and explores the role of leadership.
