<note>Initial public offering (IPO) or “go public” refers to the process of a company registering shares of its stock with the Securities and Exchange Commissions and offering the stock for sale to the public. The process of going public and the consequences of being public are described in this book. The process described, start from the decision to make initial public offering which includes considering its benefits and burdens, estimating the company’s readiness and the timing for IPO. Other terms about the process described in this book are assembling of team to guide the company through the rigorous process, undertaking of corporate house-keeping and administrative tasks to prepare itself for the IPO process and the transition to becoming a public company, managing form publicity during the offering process, hosting of the organizational meeting and management presentations, due diligence, preparing for the registration statement and going effective, and underwriting of arrangement and marketing. The after “go public” considerations also described in this book followed with the final part which is about special considerations for Non-US companies.</note>
