The Initial Public Offering



Initial public offering (IPO) or “go public” refers to the process of a company registering shares of its stock with the Securities and Exchange Commissions and offering the stock for sale to the public. The process of going public and the consequences of being public are described in this book. The process described, start from the decision to make initial public offering which includes considering its benefits and burdens, estimating the company’s readiness and the timing for IPO.
