Promotion satisfaction measures have had serious deficiencies in their domain sampling adequacy. Thus, using a multidiensional theoretical coceptualization, 42 promotion satisfaction items were developed and administered to 295 social service workers. The measure was then factor-analyticaly refined, and correlations betwen the resultant six subdimensions and other variables were examined.
