This article is partly based on the fruits which the author, as a participant, harvested from a series of stimulating presentations which were followed by thought provoking and enriching discussions among all participants to the Japan Strategic Management Society's (JSMS) FORUMs VII Beyond Mindtzberg, and VIII Beyond Hamel and Prahalad. Tese were held on sixoccasions of 3 hours each over a period from July 14, 1995 to Septembet 24, 1995, and were attended by 20 JSMS members.
