Implementation is increasingly regarded as a central issue in strategic management. At very core of managing strategic change is the issue of dealing with stakeholders both prior to, and during implementation. Managing internal stakeholders can be done not merely intuitively and informally but by explicit stakeholder positioning. This stakeholder analysis invites managers working out together, influencing strategies and surfacing obvious and less obvious stakeholder agendas.
