p. 24 - 27 This paper examines factors that contribute to the environment for entrepreneurship in Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico and the U.S.A. and seeks to determine the key factors that affect individuals interest in starting a business. Results indicate that key predictors of interest in starting a new business include: currently owning a business, high school status of entrepreneurs in the country, and favourable competitive conditions.
