The main objective of the 1st National Workshop are :(i) to identify invited universities; needs on the subject of corporate governance, business ethics and corpoprate social responsibility; (ii) to discuss and outline syllabi of the three subjects; (iii) to gain commitment and put it into action plans and (iv) to develop a prelimenary structure of research collaboration on the three subjects.The workshop resilts : (1). All Participants agreed that the three subjects are important to be taught to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. (2). Most participants considered the workshop structure and materials could be used as a significant supplement for those who have run similar courses and as a ready resource and framework to deliver a new course for those who have not had the courses in their schools. Each school has developed their own action plan. (3). The completed questionnaire indicated that the research network on the three subject should be structured informally. (4). The workshop's objectives and its implementation exceeded the participants' expectation as reflected in the final evaluation questionnaire.
