The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperations's Human Resources Developmet working Group (APEC HRD-WG) has recognized that, in order to revitalize the economy in the APEC region., it would be important to increase the number and enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are the ones who brings new products and services to the markets as well as new approaches to the way business is done. Entrepreneurs not only initiate the establisment of start-ups and small business but are likewise responsible for developing creative and innovative products, systems and approaches even within large corporations which have become stagnant because of their standard way of doing things.
