Designed to develop understanding and skill in the use of the Behavior Description Selection Systems. It is intended for delivery only to individuals who are using, or have plans to use, the Behavior Description Interviews.
The design call for the use of small-group facilitators to ensure that the skill development of the participants is at an optimum. The Trainer of the program should ensure that these facilitators are skilled in both the content and the process of the exercises in which they are involved. The Facilitator’s Guide should be provided to each facilitator prior to the workshop. All instructions regarding structure, purpose and process for the exercises appear in this Guide.
The suggested teaching methodology is clear-centered, allowing participans to come up with solutions insted of lecturing these points to them. With their list of suggestions the Trainer can then elaborate on the main teaching points. This will enable participants to claim greater ownership of the concepts and facilitate the implementation of the Behavior Description Interview into their organization.
