Statement of the problem
:


1.    How   is  the 
 employee   perception   on 
 the 
 implementation   of 
 performance management system
in PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk.
2.   Which
part of performance  management  system
 in PT.  Perusahaan  Gas
Negara


 

(Persero) Tbk. that has not been effectively implemented in which it may need an
improvement?



Methods
used :


 

1.    Literature study.

 

2.   Documents study.

 

3.   Interview.

 

4.   Employee's  perception survey
(Likert scale method).

Summary of findings :

The recent  performance  management  system  of PT. Perusahaan
 Gas Negara  (Persero) Tbk.  is moderately
 acceptable because
 it was well-developed   according  to the related theories  following  through
 all proper  stages.  At the  other hand 
practically  there  were few  of  weaknesses   which  had  been  found  in  the  result.  The  reason   behind  these
weaknesses   could 
 be  
occurred   because   of  
the   incomplete   supporting   attributes, ineffective socialization,  inconsistency  and vague  roles 
relation  within  supervisor  and
subordinates )ayers thus might misconceive  the employee's  perceptions.



Conclusion :

 


As
a matter  of facts there were  many  advantages taken  from
performance  management system execution  those refer to the employees
 and company's   benefits.
Although  seem these advantage  results can be simply 
sustained,  it won't  be an effective strategy if the execution completes in inadequate way.




Recommendation :

 


PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero)
Tbk. must keep executing performance management system in order to improve
the quality of execution
 itself. Those 
imperative aspects are improvement  in  completing
 all
 the
 supporting
 attribute
 of
 performance   management system, integrating the socialization, keeping
tracks in consistency and sharing transparent information about
employee's  roles.
In consequences,  if those aspects
are being attained, the positive  effects for achieving an optimal performance management  system execution will be significantly eventuate
