<note>The International Operations Simulation 2000 program is completed after six years of effort by the development team. We have been urged by a fair number of potential users to accelerate its release. This we have agreed to do, but not without at least skeletal documentation beyond the INTOPIA Executive Guide. This bare-bones primer on "how to run it" is geared to the "hardware" aspects of INTOPIA operations, rather than to such software aspects as model description, integration of the game into various educational programs, types of environmental events enriching the experience, details of performance evaluation, the variety of games to which the simulations lends itself, team decision processes, and the like. However, detailed familiarity with the Guide will be assumed here.</note>
