In Indonesia, cooperative is the business entity with social character institution. Due to the constitution and law, the Government of Indonesia (GoI) have to develop cooperative for establishing economy democration and people welfare. Perkassa is the program of GoI through the Ministry of Cooperative & SME to empower women in business within cooperative, launched at 2007. This study reveals the typology and positioning of cooperative that accepted that program. Based on internal and external indicators, a few factors dominate and have weighted the program and can be use as a main type of the cooperative. Also, in general that the program had been already categorized to be success for empowering women and cooperative in business. This program model could be continued as a instrument for enhancing cooperative.
