This study aims to determine the influence of competency and job satisfaction on the performance of employees in the electrical division of BUMD PT.BUMI Laksamana Jaya Bengkalis. The study population was all employees of companies working in the electrical division, amounting to 87 people, this study uses census methods for the enumeration all respondents who are in the Division of Electricity BUMD PT. Bumi Laksamana Jaya Bengkalis. Based on the results showed that, competence has a significant and positive effect on the performance of employees 0.481. Employee job satisfaction also has a positive and significant influence on the performance of 0.678 Employees are categorized in groups or being satisfactory. Competence and job satisfaction simultaneously able to influence the employee's performance for 0786 are categorized in groups of a satisfactory or better.
To encourage good job performance needs to improve education, training, and provide stimulation to achieve better performance.
