In the process, A customer or guest who will stay is required to come to the counter check-in and sign a registration card. But with the implementation of the system In Room Check-in applied in the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta, guest can do the check-in process in the room without queuing at the front counter, as long as the guest already have a reservation in advance. A clerk at check-in counter can directly deliver guest to the room which is already booked and then guest in the room can fill out a registration card via a Tablet Computer system connected to the network via Wi-Fi network.
