Pengaruh perubahan organisasional terhadap kinerja



The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of organizational change to performance of employees focusing on individual responses. This paper uses a quantitative-descriptive analysis by distributing questionnaires randomly to fifty of one hundred and seventeen respondents as samples. They are scattered into five different departments in PT. PLN (Company) Power Plant Division of Southern Sumatera. These departments are (1) department of planning, (2) department of production, (3) department of finance, (4) department of human resource, and (5) department of internal audit existing within the company. Findings suggest that the quantitative research approach is useful in showing the influence of organizational change including structural change, technological and operational change, and human change to performance of employees regarding individual responses measured by characters, behaviors, competences, achievement of the ultimate goal, and the potential for improvement. Validity and reliability tests are used to determine the accuracy of the questionnaires previous to exploring the causal relationship between organizational change and performance of employees by using regression analysis. The paper calls for further research concerning job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational culture, organizational climate, etc.
