Social policy for the developing countries



The basic understanding about social policy is about social welfare. It relates to public education, health care, housing and social security. Nevertheless, social development in the developing countries demand more than just the social welfare. Development in any developin countries will always create a marginal citizen -- they who do not have access to development process and therefore are left behind in the process of development. It resulting social problem, both in economic and social sectors. Social policy is required to solve social problems. Social problems in developing countries have different characteristic. There are three main issues the study of social policy for the developing countries: social justice, social development, and social welfare.
