Abstract

 

The
financial performance of the company is an important part that must be
considered by an investor in making an investment because good or bad a
company's financial performance will give effect to the rise or fall of stock
prices in go public companies. Therefore the aim of this study was to analyze
the effect of the financial performance of the stock price where the variables
used in this study are the independent variables that financial performance is
measured using Economic Value Added (EVA) and the Financial Value Added (FVA)
and the dependent variable is the stock price. The sample used in this study is
a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on the property sector. The
sampling technique used in this study is non probabilistic sampling with
purposive sampling method the company acquired 32 properties listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange as samples with the observation period from 2010 to
2015. The method used to test hypotheses is multiple linear regression. By
using multiple linear regression, the results of hypothesis testing to
simultaneously show that the Economic Value Added (EVA) and the Financial Value
Added (FVA) as a method of measuring the financial performance together to give
effect to the stock price, while only partially Financial Value Added (FVA),
which gives effect to the stock price. Based on the results of hypothesis testing,
the company needs to pay attention to the value of Economic Value Added (EVA)
and the Financial Value Added (FVA) in improving the financial performance of
companies and investors need to pay attention to the value of Financial Value
Added (FVA) companies to invest.
