The Scary truth about corporate survival

The article focuses on research into the financial stability of
companies and analyzes their likelihood of bankruptcy. The research was
conducted by Dartmouth University professors Vjay Govindarajan and Anup
Srivastava and focused on the year that companies were listed on the
U.S. stock exchange to compare groups of firms. Their findings were that
firms listed after the year 2000 were less likely to be solvent 10
years after their listing than those founded before 1970. The challenges
facing technology companies that produce digital products are also
discussed.
