The Optimization of Human Resource’s Performance in Islamic Microfinance Institutions Through Job Analysis and Competency Model



This study aimims to develop aa standard job aanalysis and humman resource coompetency model for Islamic Miicro Finance Institutionss (Baitul Maal wat Tamwil), so it could be a reference for others, providingg a standard p rofessional humaan resources managemennt on MFIs. Thhis research is aa field study desiigned as a surveyey, through the mmethod of interrviewing job holdders and the supervisor wwith direct observvation of the acttaffs. The data wwhhe form of a verb ffrnivities of field st as analysed in tbal description o qualitative data. The mmain activity of the staff of MFFIs is to encouragage the low econommic community thhrough the activiities of saving annd financing. MFIs mainn characteristic iss the principle of being directly inn the field thus foforming networkss through regularr meetings and mmaintaining a reliable service. MFIs perssonnel competencycy model consistss of a cluster mmodel based on teeamwork/collaboration, customeer focus, and communica tion competenciess; technical cluster includes techniccal expertise and managing work competencies; annd personal clusteer is integrity, achievementt orientation, andd self-control commpetencies. rn
