Not as for as you think : the realities of working women
This collection of essays covers the progress made by women in the workplace. It addresses such issues as mentoring, networking, dealing with sexual attraction in the office, the dilemmas faced by working mothers concerning work and family, competition between men and women, developing negotiating skills, and managing conflict. Some of the contributors are well-known authors; all have extensive backgrounds in the areas of business, psychology, organizational behavior, and/or human resource management. The problem with this book is that it offers very little that we do not already know. It presents a good overview of the problems faced by women in the workplace but one would hope for something new in this area. For larger collections. Grace Klinefelter, Ft . Lauderdale Coll.
